We are excited to welcome Rick Grant as our latest addition to the team at House of Realty. Rick comes to us as a broker and auctioneer. Rick grew up right here in Jackson County calling the Acme area his childhood stomping ground. Attending Cortland Elementary, he went on to graduate from Seymour High School in 1975. Attending Indiana University, he later graduated from Asbury University with a B.A. Degree only to be complimented by a four year Master of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. In Rick’s words, “I learned after 20 years of education how much more there is to learn.” Rick brings a lot of life experience to real estate. He spent five years in new car sales working his way to sales manager. For ten years he owned and operated Grant’s Auto Sales in Brownstown. He has been a Christian minister for over 26 years and is now in his third year at Surprise Christian Church here in Jackson County. Previously he served as Senior Minister of First Christian Church in Vincennes for seven years and almost four years as Associate Minister at Central Christian Church here in Seymour. After building three new homes, remodeling more than he could count on two hands and buying and selling commercial property, Rick said he believes the time has come to help others navigate through the waters of real estate. As Rick says, “Everyone is different and that is the way they should be treated-as individuals not just a number.” In the past, some have labeled him as the “Deal Maker” because of his ability to find a way to get things put together. “I am all about what can be and I believe those wanting to buy or sell real estate want to deal with someone who can get things done,” Rick explained. Rick is married to Pam and they live here in Seymour. He enjoys sports, playing the piano and has been a goat rancher in the past. In the summertime you will find him outside doing landscaping not just in his yard but helping the neighbors do theirs. House of Realty is where you can find him and 812-216-4180 is how you can reach him.
